Entitlement
An employee shall be entitled to leave with pay to attend compulsory examinations in courses of study that are relevant to the employee’s classification under the VCEMEA.
The amount of paid leave granted to an employee should be reasonable, and such as to enable the employee to travel to and from the examinations.
Note that there is no entitlement to study leave under the VCEMEA, however this may be granted at the employer’s or principal’s discretion.
