This workshop provides an overview to school staff on the importance of risk management, work through the challenges and risks faced in schools, and discuss the practical application of tools and guidance material in a live environment through group activities.
Catholic Church Insurance (CCI) will facilitate the session, drawing from real life scenarios to provide practical examples of why risk management is vital, and demonstrate how the effective management of risk can help school staff in their day-to-day activities.
The content of the workshop will be a combination of facilitator presentation, group discussions and ‘breakout’ activities, which will include:

- Risk Mitigation – why and how

- Dealing with Challenging Behaviours
